Well done Noel! Noel Carroll from Oranmore in Galway and 100 of his An Post colleagues and friends took part in the historic Galway Marathon on Sunday 29th August in memory of his daughter Aoibhe and in aid of the Meningitis Trust. In what was a wonderful event, Noel and his team brightened up the streets of Galway as they ran, decked out in their bright yellow Meningitis Trust T-shirts. To see pictures just visit our Facebook page below. To sponsor Noel's efforts, or to make a donation click here: Aoibhe’s Rainbow Noel's young daughter Aoibhe died suddenly from meningitis in April 2008. She was just 4 years old, and Noel and his wife Siobhan are determined to raise awareness, and to distribute as many potentially life-saving Meningitis Trust 'Signs and Symptoms' cards as possible. Signs and symptoms card costs the Trust just a few cents, but could save a life, so every cent, every euro of sponsorship for Noel and his team WILL make a difference. | ![]() Aoibhe Carroll ![]() Siobhan and Noel Carroll and family: Siobhan with Noah, Eimhin, Noel holding Sophie |
