The Meningitis Trust is here to support every individual touched by meningitis and the Trust’s services and support are a lifeline to help them rebuild their lives. It also raises awareness of the signs and symptoms of meningitis and associated septicaemia.
Our Vision is for all communities to be aware of the threat and impact of meningitis and for anyone affected to have access to quality care and support for as long as they need it.
Our Mission is to reduce the devastating impact of meningitis by:

Our long term strategy is very clear - to be there for people who have been affected by meningitis even after the introduction of vaccines. We know from all the people we work with just how important this is and the difference we make to people’s lives.
Corporate Information
Meningitis Trust Limited is a company limited by guarantee, not having a share capital, incorporated in Ireland on 21st June 2002 under the Companies Acts, 1963 to 1983, registered number 358306.
The objectives of the Company and of the Group are charitable in nature with established charitable status (Registered Charity No. CHY 14722). All income is applied solely towards the promotion of the charitable objectives of the Group.

The Trust was a founder member of the in 2004. COMO is a global network of individuals and organisations involved with meningitis, and facilitates the sharing of information and ideas.
