Awareness Talks

Meningitis is a devastating disease, and raising awareness is one of our main aims. We can give awareness talks to the General Public and Organisations, including:  

Order of Malta
Creches,
Preschools and Playschools
Community Groups
Youth Groups
Women’s clubs/ICA Guilds
Secondary schools
Teachers of the deaf
Companies
 

We always try to provide a speaker when requested. However, if this is not possible, we can supply disease information materials.

Health Professionals

We provide teaching sessions and lectures for health professionals. Training sessions, covering many meningitis related topics, can be adapted to meet the needs of any audience, for example:

Student Nurses
Public Health Nurses
Infection Control Nurses’ Association (ICNA) conferences
Continuing Professional Development training for GPs
A and E staff training days
Triage Nurses
Practice nurses
