Skip a coffee? – Take the Cappuccino Challenge now…

OfficeWhy not consider taking the Meningitis Trust 'Cappuccino Challenge'? It will save you calories and money, and you could also help save a life. Everyone wins.

All you need to do is go without a cup of coffee. Just one. Once a day, or once a week, the decision is yours. Then donate the money to the Meningitis Trust.

How could that help to save a life? Well €3 -  the typical cost of a cappuccino - can help us to provide 25 families in your area, or an entire school class, with their own Signs and Symptoms card. Knowing the symptoms of meningitis CAN save lives, so the sooner you start, the sooner you can make a difference. Let us know how you get on.

To make your gift, and make a difference, simply click on the 'Donate Now' button on the left. Or send a cheque/postal order to us at Meningitis Trust, PO Box 102, Bray Co Wicklow. Thank you.

Y
ou can also make a regular gift by Standing Order, which you can cancel or change at any time according to your circumstances (or your desire for coffee in the future!). Good Luck!

Why not encourage your colleagues or a family member to join the Cappucino Challenge too? All it takes is one coffee!

Sky Dive Sky dive

Calling all daredevils!

The Meningitis Trust has teamed up with Skydive4charity.ie to offer this experience of a lifetime. Visit www.skydive4charity.ie for all the details, call  the Skydive4Charity team on 086 2532445 or email CharitySkydive@Skydive4Charity.ie and remember, you'll also be raising much-needed funds for the Meningitis Trust.

For more details about the work of the Trust, and how your skydive can help in the fight against this terrible disease, please contact Ger Mills, Meningitis Trust Development Officer on 090 6450531 or email

Watch Cian Murphy's skydive on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FZ9lEOJqAuI

Deirdre Nolan also flung herself from a plane- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9xuFZo9TGlc Afterwards she said “I slowly watched us climbing, 2,000, 4,000 and eventually 10,000ft…door open, kneeling, tightening of straps, instructions, one leg out, crossing of arms…1…2…3…gone! Complete disorientation as we tumbled into position……but then…. WOW…it was like being in a wind tunnel, arms open,  flying, letting go, exhilaration , smiling, loving it!  I really can’t explain those first few seconds but the outcome was the best experience of my life and one I’ll never forget and definitely want to do again.”
