Just a few weeks left before the Flora Women's Mini Marathon!



The Meningitis Trust is calling on the women of Ireland to join our team and help us run meningitis out of Ireland. Thank you to everyone who has signed up for our Team to take part in the Flora Dublin Mini Marathon on 7th June so far. If you have secured your place in the race, but haven't yet chosen your charity, why not join us?

We are grateful to Edelman for providing a wonderful venue on the day again this year, where members of the Meningitis Trust team can leave their bags, meet fellow runners, and have a well-earned massage from our fantastic volunteers Maeve and Stephen. 
 
The Meningitis Trust gets no statutory government funding and so relies on voluntary donations to continue services for people and families affected by meningitis.  So every cent raised in sponsorship will help pay for the professional services and community support which are a lifeline for anyone living with the impact of meningitis. These include a Freephone 24-Hour nurse-led Helpline (1800 523 196), bereavement and family counselling, and home visits by the Trust's Community Nurse.
